Lunch Hour Treasures

During our almost daily after-lunch-walks I kept seeing stuff along the way that I wanted to take pictures of, and one day about three weeks ago I finally remembered to bring my camera to work. Luckily it was one of those relatively warm and really sunny days that made you think that spring was just around the corner. Which, it turned out, it wasn’t, we’re back to 0°C right now…

I’m quite happy with the results of my lunch time photo session, but I very often have a sort of picture outcome dilemma: with my point & shoot, the colours come out almost exactly as what I see with my eyes. With the DSLR most of the time the outcome seems too colourless, faded.

I don’t really want to do any picture editing, so mostly all I do is use “autocorrect”. I did that with a few of these pics, and the results were so different from the original that to me they looked mega-edited, so I left everything as is, and what you see here is completely unedited.
