For today’s Capture Your 365 challenge, I chose to take the subject literally, capturing a lesson in my Italian workbook.
I did learn a life lesson from these lessons, too, though: I am not the type for evening classes with regards to learning languages. Italian is the one I stuck with the longest, but I gave up Russian after 3 semesters, and Dutch during the first one. Not because I’m not good at languages, on the contrary, but I have no patience with unfocused and unstructured teachers, nor with students who after years of going to a class still don’t know the basics and hold up progress for the rest of the group. I’m a lone fighter, not a team person, when it comes to learning.
